PATHETIC MOORE !!

Started by: GOLDEN BEAR (6556)

What a disgrace of refereeing I
have just witnessed from the prick moore talk about players pulling the wool over the Ref's eyes ,could he not tell it was six of one and half dozen of the other if anything they both should have walked , but it does not meet their requirement's to be in charge and officiate a spectacle ,OH NO they just take the easy option and pull out red cards as if it's confetti .
Similar yesterday the HULL v Saints game , why again could Kendal (another prick) use his discretion by way of give a yellow card , then when he repeated it just take him to one side and tell the player i am now putting you on report , BUT NO WAY i tell you what I WILL spoil the game as a spectacle and send him off at the half-time break , How PETTY & BLOODY MINDED IS THAT ????
Whilst i appreciate players too should shoulder the responsibility but what HAS HAPPENED TO COMMON SENSE THESE DAY'S ??????
Another game spoiled and marred by inept action's . I speak for certain people and they tell me they are not prepared to watch further matches if players' are being sent off for minor (in some cases ) offences , this only does harm in the long run .. G.B.

It wasn’t on over here but from what I read and the messages I have received the sending off was fully deserved. I repeat I didn’t see the incident.

6 and 2 threes here, they both should have been sent off..you just can't do that in the modern game...(Soon be tick and pass we are watching imo)
However, mouthing off to referees should not be tolerated at all,in any situation. Never known a ref to change his mind after a mouth full from a player.

Hello JOE ,
I have viewed the incident over, over and i know i'm a Wiganer ,but can anyone tell me that the two players had their heads together ?? I have always been in believer if your gonna send a player off invariably they both should go , unless it is obviously blatant on one part . But this is going back to another thread i did ,and that was a similar one "" For me if i was reffin seeing that the game had only just kicked off ,i would have got the two guys together and said ok both of you in the SIN BIN for ten mins and calm down, But like i previously said the referrees of today have not got a clue ,they are shit scared of the camera's instead of officiating the game and assisting to create a spectacle for all to watch .
But no let's show the red cards then i will look good ( my arse )
I also have to strongly AGREE with Handsomeminer that incident was NEVER A RED CARD . IF These couple of tosser's we have in Kendal & Moore ARE anything to go by i just feel for Rugby League as i once knew it !!!!G.B.

Unfortunately the governing bodies are taking any discretion away from the referees

Matches between Wigan and Warrington have always been feisty affairs, remember many a Locker cup game(friendly)finishing 11 a side.
Now yesterday was anything but,yes it was exciting and Wigan won through adversity, and a decent game plan,
However, when players come running in swinging handbags,is it only me who thinks"for gods sake, throw a punch".Sort it out, give a penalty and move on.
Did you see that big lad playing for the wire grassing Ellis up
"its him sir,did you see him sir" Can't imagine Skerret doing that
Modern game is one step away from tick and pass

sending off yes , 20 years ago only a penalty.
Does anybody else think the game is going soft,or is it moving in the right direction?

I think a lot is to do with accountability regarding all these claims from ex players for historic head injuries. It is the same in both codes. All these head injury assessments etc. The insurance companies are becoming afraid. We live in a claim culture.

the ref in the saints hull game was poor, most players where mystified by more than one decision he made.
players should not question refs ,but he had me questioning more than a few of his decision making.
the refs are not the stars out on the field, thats not their job,the ref should be seen and not heard.

Here,Her Baker boy totally agree with you. JOE i will say the game is to SOFT and i believe it's NOT moving in the right direction i too recall many a battle with them especially BOYD (think thats his name) he was a hard case but he took it and gave it , those players form my era would not be on the pitch for long today , take my hero W.J.BOSTON with his famous coming in from the wing and crushing the centres he be off in trice , his timing was perfect and they knew they had been tackled once BILLY left them. today not a chance . hence my verdict the game for has gone ( ,sadly)Remember
big john barton/frank collier /norman cherrington ,and another hero of min Brian McTIGUE THEY wer lads after graftingat work hit the park running in today's climate sad to say again no chance i hope that answers' your comment JOE! G.B.

Here's where we will disagree GB, I think any abuse of an official should be met with a long ban,and should not be tolerated in any circumstance.
Although, respect should be both ways...Don't like the refs calling the players mate and pal.Back in the day , he was sir and you was whatever number you had on your back

That's one point i agree with you JOE , is all this pal/ mate/ and fraternising most definitely needs to be stamped out .Te only person alowed to speak to the ref is the team captains !! G.B.

The ref shouldn’t be shouting get you head in, you’re offside etc. Penalize them. They will soon learn. Having said and read everything looking forward to todays game. I think Saints are the best team around at present.

Hi Broady .
One of my pet hates is on hearing the REF so much and loudly. I too just want the ref to do just that and nothing else , As for him shouting his head off , it's the same with the 5 tackle rule , He satnds there 1,2,3, etc MY take on this is " Are they professional players' or what"??? By that i mean he should clearly keep STUM if these pro's cannot count themselves then they should not be playing in the first instance ,I m sure we don't want to hear him telling us 1.2.3 etc before they have the choice to kick .they should know it by now !!
MY second pet hate is "Golden Point" This should be scrapped in League Matches . if a match is all square at 80 minutes then each team shares the points . If they want to use it in CUP match's OK , I understand that
but for league A MASSIVE NO VOTE !!!G.B..

GB, The ref has always given the tackle count, the difference now is he is mic'd up.However,I like you don't wish to listen to it
